Jefferson Memorial Forest is next door to Valley Station, and this gorgeous swath of nature makes a pretty good neighbor. The Ohio River is right on the other side of Valley Station. All the hills, trees and cool river breezes helped make this neighborhood a must-have destination in the 1950s and '60s, when suburban living was just beginning to blossom. Even today, Valley Station has that suburban charm that makes this neighborhood feel like home.
Visit Valley Station
The winding roads of Valley Station are full of homes in all shapes and styles, made in designs dating to the middle of the 1900s to today. New homes are being built in Valley Station all the time, because there's always a high demand for houses here. This is a neighborhood of big trees, green grass and great real estate options. Valley Station is split into many smaller subdivisions with sidewalks and schools nearby.
Dixie Highway is the main road here. This is where you can find shopping, eating and places to go have a good time. That includes gyms, the local library, even a place or two to get a relaxing drink after work. Valley Station is also famous for its casual restaurants. There are multiple independently owned restaurants here known for having southern cuisine that's some of the best you can eat anywhere.
