Create Something in the Highlands

You can see live theater here or go to the golf course, visit a park or just enjoy some people-watching. You can find just about everything to do in the Highlands. But what really makes the neighborhood stand out is all the different choices you have in a place to live.
Like the rest of the Highlands, the real estate here is very eclectic. You can see homes of all types, from gorgeous historic places to glittering modern homes. Design stretches across the decades here and homes are available in every size, from a cozy one-bedroom to a sprawling mansion that can easily sleep six or more. Big yards, small yards, garages, swimming pools. Something that feels more chic and more urban. You can pretty much pick the features you want and find a home that matches.
Go exploring in the Highlands and see if your next home is here.

Finding Stonecrest
The condo living in Stonecrest is not the urban-style, cool and trendy condo real estate you can find in downtown Louisville. These condos look like pretty country manors. The architecture is classic and the interiors are incredibly charming. Warm hardwood floors, breathtaking stone counters, custom cabinets, huge closets. What else is on the list of stuff you just have to have? You'll probably find it in Stonecrest.
See the real estate here and you might see yourself living in Stonecrest before the summer is over.

Of course, there's a place to go create art in the Highlands. This is the neighborhood you go to when you want to see stand-up comedy or enjoy a quirky live play. It's where you come for that one shop that carries that one thing no one else has, or to go to that really cool coffee shop where people do actual poetry readings. This neighborhood is known for its restaurants and shopping and its sheer atmosphere. But the Highlands is also very well known for its homes. The real estate here is something you have to see to believe.
It's hard to describe the overall real estate in the Highlands because no two homes here are the same and all of them seem to defy explanation. You might find a huge home built with a ton of glass nestled in the trees, an incredible modern Craftsman with a front porch to die for, a quaint shotgun home that's bigger than it first appears. There are traditional homes with big front yards and long driveways, breathtaking estate-like homes that look like they ought to be in a movie, pretty homes built with the best of Southern design.
Anyone could get creative in the Highlands. It's very easy to get inspired to create a whole new life here.

His paintings are so famous that people still mention him to this day. In fact, he's often used as an example of the Impressionist movement. His paintings look abstract from up close, just a lot of swirling colors and shapes. Just step back to see the magic of the paintings come alive and turn into beautiful natural sights at the Speed Museum.
Nympheas
Claude Monet is famous for his paintings of water lilies, an image he painted while sitting in his garden in France. The Nympheas collection was one of the first versions of these water lilies he created. He would end up painting the pond for the rest of his life.
