Walking in Germantown
Germantown has a long history in Louisville. As you walk around the neighborhood, keep an eye out for the historic buildings that still stand here. You'll also notice some amazing smells coming from the restaurants here. You can find authentic German cuisine here, along with food from elsewhere around the world.
The colorful homes in Germantown definitely showcase the neighborhood’s historic past. The architecture reminds of decades gone by but inside, these homes couldn’t be more modern. The multi-bedroom homes here are much larger than they first appear and they gleam with all the modern stuff that everyone wants. You know all the stuff you see on the home improvement shows?
