Take a Biplane Tour of Louisville This December
Get a good vantage point of Louisville, and see the city from up above. Ride in a classic biplane high above Louisville, and look down on some of the most historic locations and beautiful neighborhoods in the city while you're up there.
Taking Louisville By Storm
The Barnstormer biplane tour of Louisville will fly you over downtown Louisville, a community full of tall buildings and culture. You'll be taken over Churchill Downs, the famous site of the Kentucky Derby. You'll also go past the historic water tower and fly above the gorgeous Ohio River coastline. Tickets cost $185 per person or $265 per couple.
This is where you'll find some of Louisville's prettiest communities with the most beautiful housing. Several large Louisville neighborhoods are built near the riverfront with luxury housing and breathtaking water views. Indian Hills has lots of amazing stuff to view, in fact.
Flying Above the Hills
The Indian Hills neighborhood looks great from above, but it's gorgeous at ground level, too. You'll see winding streets making their way through Indian Hills. It spreads out along the river on one side and the pretty Louisville Country Club on another. Part of Beargrass Creek wind through Indian Hills, too. This helps to create the amazing natural landscaping. Lots of the natural rock outcroppings, trees and plants have been left in place to given the neighborhood gorgeous scenery everywhere.
Like the name suggests, there are rolling hills all over the neighborhood. This community is full of towering trees, cul-de-sacs and beautifully landscaped lawns. The homes are so amazing outside, you may want to stop and stare at the detailed stonework, the amazing outdoor fountains and details, the chimneys and sprawling floor plans. But these homes are just as amazing inside. You'll see hardwood floors, enormous kitchens, extra rooms and all sorts of modern features that make any home feel a bit more like a palace.
See Indian Hills from above by plane, walk around it on foot or drive through in your car. No matter how you see this Louisville neighborhood, you're going to want to see it again and again.
