Churchill Downs is just a short drive away from Shively, an historic neighborhood full of suburban charm.
Take a Tour of Shively
For decades, Shively has appealed to entrepreneurs of all types. In the late 1700s, people came here to build farmsteads on the beautiful, rolling hills here. Later, the distilleries opened up here. But it was in the 1950s that Shively really found it stride as a pretty suburb made up of cozy, comfortable, cute homes. Today, the neighborhood is full of homes in all sizes and styles with multiple bedrooms, wide front lawns and custom details.
Shively is full of small parks and schools, including Butler Traditional. There's plenty of shopping and eating all along Dixie Highway, and Shively is just a short drive away from all the excitement and attractions of downtown Louisville.
Take your own tour of Shively this October when you take a tour of Churchill Downs, and see the real estate here.
