Take the Old Louisville Holiday Home Tour December 3 and 4

Old Louisville is one of the most popular neighborhoods in the entire city thanks to its beautiful architecture and gorgeous scenery. This year, see some of the breathtaking mansions in Old Louisville at the Holiday Home Tour all decked out in their holiday best.

Holiday Home Tour

The home tour takes up just four blocks of Old Louisville, so you don’t have to do a lot of walking to enjoy. All the homes you’ll see will be absolutely stunning and you’ll get to learn a little bit about each one. The historical and architectural details of each home will be discussed. The tour is a slow stroll that will take about two hours.

There is plenty of parking, so feel free to pick a spot and get out. Be ready to walk. Wear your walking shoes and bring a bottle of water if you like. Tickets are $35 per person. Children 18 and under are free. Tours are held both days from noon to 5 pm starting at Central Park. This is one of the features of Old Louisville. But the homes are, as always, the true feature here…even when they aren’t decorated for the holiday season.

You can always extend the tour on your own and explore more of Old Louisville while you’re already in the neighborhood. There are more than a dozen blocks here and all of them feature incredible architecture, places that are going to make you stop and stare.
