Take Your Little Princess to a Royal Ball January 29

The Louisville Royal Princess Ball is for all the little princesses in the city. Bring yours so she can enjoy a whole day of royal treatment, interactive activities and of course, some of the princesses they love.

Calling All Princesses

The Royal Princess Ball includes singing, dancing, live performances, interactive crafts, even an etiquette lesson. There will be plenty of photo opportunities, naturally. Little Princesses get to participate in a Rescue the Princess mission and make a wish using pixie dust, among other fun events. It's a fun-filled day full of surprises and stuff to do.

Louisville Royal Princess Ball

The Louisville Royal Princess Ball is at the Louisville Marriott East at 1903 Embassy Square Blvd. Be there from 1:15 to 3 pm. Get VIP tickets, and arrive at 12:30 for the official coronation ceremony, where all VIP little Princesses will be crowned.

Time-honored fairytale princesses will be there to meet with all the little princesses. Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White, Pocahontas and many others will be part of the party.

Take the Royal Tour of Douglass Hills

The Marriott is just a few blocks away from Douglass Hills, a popular family neighborhood close to Middletown. Douglass Hills was truly designed to be a family neighborhood. There's a community pool for all residents to enjoy, and parents love the middle school and park located right near the center of the neighborhood. Douglass Hills is full of winding streets to take you up and down the hilly community, but many of those streets end in cul-de-sacs. This prevents a lot of through traffic from roaring around the neighborhood, to keep streets quiet and safer for all the kids.

You'll see many brick homes in Douglas Hills, with lots of ranch styles and two-story houses that were made for families. Many of the homes here have basements and many of the homes are designed to be large and comfortable. Parents especially love the Starbucks and shopping plaza near the far end of the neighborhood, and the nearness of major streets and highways. Find out what you can see in Douglass Hills this January, and take your own royal tour through the neighborhood.
