Take Your Pup to a Pool Party September 8
Get your fur baby and head to Frankfort Avenue this September for a Puppy Pool Party at Pet Wants. There will also be pawsicles available for them. Because after all, four-legged friends need to beat the heat, too.
Puppy Pool Party
Go to Pet Wants for the puppy pool party and pawsicles. It’s totally free to go to this event. The pool party is open from 11 am to 5 pm. This a fun, comfortable environment for people and pups alike. Dogs of any size are welcome to take a dip in the pet pool, which is sized for safe swimming.
The party's at 1718 Frankfort Avenue in Clifton. That’s just outside Clifton Heights, the lovely historic neighborhood that's full of winding streets, pretty real estate and lots of reasons why you'll want to live here.
Climb the Hills in Clifton Heights
The rolling hills of Clifton Heights sprawl out next to the Louisville Champions Park and the banks of the Ohio River. This neighborhood is just minutes away from downtown Louisville and all the attractions you can find in the heart of the city, but Clifton Heights looks and feels like a suburb. This neighborhood is mostly residential, with leafy trees and quiet streets throughout.
The homes in Clifton Heights are very cute and represent a range of different styles. Bungalow and shotgun-style homes give Clifton Heights its distinct look. The period architecture has lots of great features to offer. Many homes here have hardwood floors and other Old World elements.
Take your pup to see Clifton Heights while you’re in the area and see if this neighborhood feels like home to you.
