Take Your Teen to Babysitter Training January 27

Babysitting is a time-honored tradition, almost a rite of passage for teenagers. Many teens end up babysitting younger siblings, but some share their skills with others in order to earn a little extra money. Teens always want more money, as every parent knows! This January, take them to the Babysitter Training Course offered by the Oldham County YMCA.

Better Babysitting Skills

The course is chock-full of valuable lessons that kids need. After completing this course, they will be better equipped to handle situations that may arise when young children are involved. The course is optimally designed for babysitters ages 11 to 16. They will learn skills that help them more effectively watch children, such as feeding and diapering. They will learn tips for handling bedtime, which can be rough, and get some valuable techniques for managing discipline issues of all kinds.
