Take Your Teen to Play Virtual Reality August 31
Have you got a teen at home who’s bugging you about playing some cool virtual reality thing? This August, take them to the Teen Outpost VR Room at the Highlands Library so they can try out the Oculus Quest 2 VR headset.
Virtual Reality for Teens
Virtual reality is definitely the latest and coolest thing in gaming. The library in the Highlands, which is one of Louisville's coolest neighborhoods, has a whole VR room where teens can try out the Oculus. This special workshop is for teens only. The VR room is open from 2 to 4 pm and it’s free to attend.
The library is at 1250 Bardstown Road in the Highlands. That's in Cherokee Triangle, a neighborhood surrounded by natural beauty and full of amazing homes.
Explore the Reality of Cherokee Triangle
You'll find Cherokee Triangle next to Cherokee Park. When you see beautiful, tree-lined streets and amazing homes that look like traditional country estates, you're here. The homes really stand out here. Each one is custom-built and each has its own unique look and charm, though all have a classic and historic look to them. These homes were built for comfort.
They were also built to be big. These are very large homes with more than one bedroom and bathroom. The houses also have features you can't find in more modern homes, little extras and handmade details like custom tiles, gorgeous carved wood and all sorts of embellishments. These homes have personality, they have history. Will one of them soon have your heart? Step into the reality of Cherokee Triangle after you explore some virtual reality at the Highlands library.
