Take Your Toddler to Storytime January 19

If you’ve got a toddler, you know that they have energy to spare. They want to move, talk, dance and be entertained all the time. This January, let the library entertain your toddler for a little while. The Toddler Storytime Program at the Crescent Hill Library is designed to keep kids engaged to encourage the development of early learning skills. It’s time to put that energy of theirs to good use!

Toddlers will learn how to develop an early love of books and reading with this project, a skill that will pay off for them in the future. Storytime isn’t just about sitting and listening to a story. You know how hard it can be to get a toddler to do that, after all. This project includes songs, movement and art activities that will keep them engaged and show them how fun books and reading can be.

Toddler Storytime Program at Crescent Hill Library

Toddler storytime at the library is designed for children aged two and three. Be at the library from 10 to 11 am at 2762 Frankfort Avenue. That’s in Crescent Hill and this is just one of the great attractions this neighborhood has to offer. Before you leave Crescent Hill, see what else kids (and you) could love about this community.

Get Engaged in Crescent Hill

Crescent Hill has its own personality that makes it stand out. Along Frankfort Avenue, this is a cool and hip neighborhood that's a haven for independent businesses and amazing local restaurants. It's a place for coffee shops and great shopping, for people-watching and cuisine-tasting. But elsewhere in Crescent Hill, you'll find a large golf course and an aquatic center. You'll find beautiful schools and parks. You'll even find a great historic attraction near the Reservoir. But if you start exploring along the quiet side streets of Crescent Hill, you'll find much more.

You can find everything to do in Crescent Hill, so you can find just about every style of house here, too. Look for an imposing, stately brick home or a colorful, cute bungalow style. Find a contemporary stone home or a great gingerbread-style house built in a tall Victorian style. There are lots of options here, lots of great schools and lots of great shopping and eating. You may find that you want to spend lots more time in Crescent Hill.
