The Louisville Irish Fest at Bellarmine University September 28th-30th
The renowned Bellarmine University campus in the Highlands will have an enticing sparkle this weekend as they host the annual Louisville Irish Fest on September 28th, 29th and 30th. This is a family-friendly event that offers a variety of traditional Irish food, entertainment and fun. The festival hours are Friday 7pm to 10pm, Saturday 10am to 10pm and Sunday 12noon to 6pm.
Authentic Irish cuisine, music and wares have made the Louisville Irish Fest one of the most celebrated heritage events in the Highlands area. A unique array of tasty traditional fares will be offered by local Irish establishments O’Shea’s, O’Connell’s, Molly Malone’s, Shenanigans, Ri’Ra and Flanagans. Bellarmine will have 4 different stages set up for entertainers were festival goers can see performances by Dulahan, The Brock McGuire Band (from Ireland), Cloigheann, Robert Tincher, The Chattering Magpies and many more.
You and the family may not see an actual fairy, but the annual Louisville Irish Fest will fill the Bellarmine campus with Celtic spirit from the music and venders to the food and drinks. Attendees will find a fantastic display of traditional Irish arts and crafts, clothing, pottery, hats, organic bath products, face painting and more.
