Walk Your Dog at the Nature Preserve This May
You may have learned recently that sometimes, you just gotta get out of the house and stretch your legs a little, breathe some fresh air. Your doggie probably feels the same way sometimes. Even if you go on walks around the neighborhood, your dog knows that nothing compares to being in the park. Take your pup to the Garvin Brown Preserve this May and go see one of Louisville's best areas for dogs.
A Walk in the Park
The Garvin Brown Preserve at Hays Kennedy Park has a dog exercise area. This is a 46-acre nature preserve that's open to the public. Keep your doggie on a leash while you're here. There are lots of places for them to roam and play.
The nature preserve is at 6453 Bass Road. The preserve is on the banks of the Ohio River, just a short drive from the pretty Green Spring neighborhood. Little Goose Creek winds its way through here, creating some other great walking areas for dogs.
Go See Green Spring
Green Spring is full of big, estate-like homes built in brick surrounded by huge green lawns and beautiful landscaping. Tall trees and beautiful details make these homes stand out. These homes have high-end details everywhere. That includes recessed lighting, stone counters, picture windows, stainless steel, hardwood floors, custom cabinets and more. Relax in a big master suite, marvel at the closet space and adore the crown molding.
This neighborhood is made up of quiet, winding streets. There are schools nearby, not to mention a swim and tennis club. There's a marina nearby on the banks of Harrods Creek, and the popular Springhurst Paddock Shops are just a quick dive from Green Spring.
Go see the neighborhood this May, and you’ll see why this is a great place to have a bright future.
