Watch the Kids Run the Bases at Louisville Slugger Field August 21

Take the kids to Louisville Slugger Field on August 21, and they’ll never forget it. There’s an autograph session before the game, a free meal for them during the game and an Inflatable Fun Zone where they literally bounce off the walls. After all that, they can even run the bases. This is going to be a fun night for the whole family, especially if you love baseball, too.

Enjoy a Day at the Ballgame

Kids eat free at Louisville Slugger Field on August 21. Come before the game begins at 2:00 pm for the autograph session. Bring your black marker with you from 12:45 to 1:20 pm to get autographs from players and coaches. During the game, kids can feast on the foods they like: hot dogs and nachos.

Louisville Slugger Field Kids Run Bases

With any valid game ticket, kids get access to the Inflatable FunZone inside the comfortably air conditioned Hall of Fame. Parents can take a look at some of the history here while the kids get to jump around. When the game is over, all kids 12 and younger may run the bases. That’s a lifetime thrill for anyone. Slugger Field is one of the highlights of downtown Louisville at 401 East Main Street, just a few blocks away from one of the city’s most prized neighborhoods: Old Louisville.

Build a New Life in Old Louisville

As soon as you enter the Old Louisville neighborhood, you’ll be entering another time. The tall Victorian buildings here cast shade on the sidewalks where professionals walk their pets and young college students rush to class at the nearby campus. A youthful, energetic spirit infuses Old Louisville, but somehow it matches perfectly with all those 100-year-old buildings.

Speaking of the buildings, they were originally built here to serve as luxurious homes -- and that’s exactly what’s still here. In Old Louisville, you can live in an historic Victorian that’s been renovated with all the modern features. Find an amazing duplex, a chic condo, a cozy family home or even a large, sprawling house that was built to be a family mansion. Old Louisville puts residents next to the campus and just blocks away from all the culture, food and amazing attractions in the downtown area.
