Win $1 Million at the Derby Festival Hole-in-One Contest April 22
Can you hit a hole-in-one on the golf course? What if there’s a million dollars at stake? Even if you don’t win, the Kentucky Derby Festival Hole-in-One contest is a popular event, and it’s always fun if you can get out there on the golf course.
Driving the Course
Go to the Seneca Golf Course Driving Range to participate in the fun hole-in-one challenge and you could win $1 million. You may not win, but you’ll have plenty of fun trying. This event lasts all day, from 10 am to 8:30 pm, so show up any time to take your shot at the big prize.
The Seneca Golf Course is at 2300 Pee Wee Reese Road. The entry fee is just $1 per shot. Spectators can watch all of the action for free.
You’ll Hit It Off with Seneca Gardens
The pretty Seneca Gardens neighborhood is right next to the golf course. Once, this whole area was part of the historic Farmington estate. A gardener purchased a big chunk of the property, and soon this beautiful community was born. Today, Seneca Gardens is full of beautiful lawns with plenty of small gardens and pretty landscaping. The homes were built to be big and grand, with traditional styling. You'll see a lot of big brick homes here, beautiful places to live that have a classic look you usually find only on television.
Seneca Gardens is within walking distance of Cherokee Park and Seneca Park, so there's no limit to the outdoor activities children can enjoy here. It's just a quick hop to the Interstate, so it's easy to get anywhere in the city from here. See if you hit a hole in one on the course this April, and you'll have plenty of cash to buy yourself a home in Seneca Gardens...or maybe even two!
